I almost didn't post this picture as the bigger version is very unforgiving of the standard of painting. But remember I have 400 of these to paint, and spending my usual 6 hours plus painting each one would take me... 100 days non stop no sleeping breathing eating or blogging to paint them all. This unit took me around 8 hours total for all 15 figures. As long as you keep the figures at arms length I think they're OK....
I have to say I like the aqua/teal color. I always end up using the same browns, greens, and blues for fantasy models. I keep thinking I should force myself to use a color that I wouldn't normally pick. I painted a halfling with a bright yellow jacket. That was definitely outside of my comfort zone.
ReplyDeleteP.S. My Vendel Miniatures / Grenadier Fantasy Warriors dwarf comparison photo is getting close to posting.
